the car has had a full r33 rb25 conversion, spec 2 rb25??

r33 clocks and stalks have been put in the car so im assuming its the full r33 loom

The car has had a full weld in cage fitted with only half of it painted so i will get round of stripping the car down pull the windows out and get it painted properly

the car come with a cool retro nardi not to everyones taste not normally mine but im staring to like it
[IMG]

Right now the car is going to be used as a daily until i find something cheap,im unsure how far to take the car weather to get it up to bdc/competition spec or keep the intention as a nice drift toy.

Things to come; the cars handbrake is pretty useless so i think i will opt for a hydro probably a duel set up with it being a daily, sort out the wiring behind the head unit, nice set of wheels iv been thisnking of the rota mxr's after seeing them on the driftworks r32 but id probably go for the polished or white finish.

The Turbo feeds are rubbing against the cars maninfold which cant be good so i will get some braided hoses
the actuator is also making a horrible rattle i dont weather thats something to do with it aswell or just the collar clip on the actuator bar is on its way out

thanks for looking and i will post updates much as i can

Delivery from japan new water and oil line kit ready for the turbo, the turbo is starting to smoke so these will be added to the replacement turbo
[IMG]

i found the hydro i bought from epr back at awesomefest after it spent a while collecting dust, never really liked the look of them
so repainted in matte black and opted for a bmx grip
[IMG]

after upping the boost to 0.9bar the car seems to struggle, any rb25 experts know if this could be a coilpack issue ? or anything else and ways around it.

next update will be hydro install and replacement turbo

Holding back around 3500rpm on boost, then better after that? Classic R33 behaviour, a properly setup SAFC or something like it should sort that, or an ecu.

If its missing, check coilpacks and gap plugs.

Yeah alex it is better if I back off on the throttle and then plant my foot around 5000rpm is there any ecu's that are recommended ?

I got these lines from kingawa turbos they have a few line kits for there own turbos too so make sure you select the right kit

finally gave my pal Dan the money for the xxrs so he gave me the other pair for the front
[IMG]

So headed up to the garage to fit the hydro
[IMG]

until this happened
[IMG]

weirdly the brake line end that i bought from a local shop fitted on one side that came with an adapter but wouldn't on the other,
im unsure what thread size is needed, cylinders been sent out to be rethreaded but in the meantime i bought another cylinder and have the same problem different thread yet again.
any body no the right thread size for these ?

cool shot from Shaun when i first got the car

The hydro is now in but dosent really lock well with the 0.7 cylinder i bought so getting my hands on a .625 cylinder is now the next job. in the mean time i had a test fitting of the work equips i bought ages ago which were bought for my s13, all four need a good refurb two need sealing properly

i can't remember what offsets they were, not a lot of dish but still look better than the xxrs, 10mm-15mm space they should fit quite nicely

few more pics

heres a Problem iv got, that r32 now and then has this horrible idle, the car never looses power and cuts out but its getting more viscous as time goes on with it lasting longer getting more severe,

plan is to take off the idle control valve, maf sensor give them a good clean and throw in some new colder plugs and see if it makes any difference.

Also i don't know what possessed me in the first place but that piece of crap japspeed handbrake is coming out! its weak as hell I'm not the biggest and strongest of people and its bent already, how a big name in the uk drift scene such as japspeed could sell poor quality gear is beyond me

progress has been slow due to buying my first property but this weekend i got a new delivery Supaforma uprated coil packs and white line control arm bushes
[IMG]

after fitting the uprated coilpacks the car dosent struggle and pulls nice and smooth with no hesitation, when putting the coil packs on i also noticed yet another crack in the manifold

the parts list is getting bigger every time like look at this car haha
