RB boost issue

    I've got an RB25DET which boosts to 0.5 bar up to 4.5k rpm then it goes up to 1.0 bar till the redline which is what I have set it at with my AVCR. Why is it not boosting to a bar earlier? The engine has an apexi ax53b70 turbo and the standard 2 stage boost controller has been removed. Could it be a dodgy actuator?

    Anyone have any ideas? I think I will wire the Wastegate closed to rule out the actuator.

    Wiring your wastegate closed will be no good.. Don't do that. lol I would disconnect your AVCR and just run boost off of the wastegate. See if that fixes your problem. Let me know how that goes.
