I have a sr20det in my classic impreza go RB it'll be different :), but unfortunately we haven't done a build thread on either of the cars, we also still use the subaru subframe, rack and suspension components

Put a fat bird in the back to give you a perfect 50/50 ratio & ignore the smell of chips & gravy coming from behind lol :p:p:p

I know what you mean mate... I've just paid out for a new Haltech ECU, few other little odds & sods, and I still need new tyres, wheel refurb & to tart the bodywork up! AAAAARGH :smash::smash::smash:

must of been the previous owner mate iv only driven/played with it down a few private roads :)

well, iv made a decision handling over the sweet sound of a straight 6 it is

not allot to update other than iv found an sr setup that fits the bill and im now working my arse off to pay for it, I want this car to feel nimble light and responsive, altho I love the sound of an rb, the sr pokes the same power albeit in different ways for roughly the same money, either setup you can push/ build to what you want so plan is to rock it fairly standard then when the winter comes and iv learnt the car, play with the handling and maybe rebuild the sr or go vet ;O

hopefully picking the engine up next week so will update then with some pics of a dirty sr ;)

nice mate, we'll be doing the same conversion at the same time. Hopefully starting mine in the next couple of weeks. Just wait for space at the garage. My sr is already there waiting, the car is pretty much stripped out so hopefully I can start getting my hand dirty straight away. hopefully bounce question off each other if we get stuck anywhere. But i have been told it is a very easy conversion to do. fingers crossed.

I doubt I will bud, your already quite a way in front of me.

I am going to stick with the Subaru front end for now but I do plan on changing to an s14 front end at a later date. But i may bring that plan forward if the build goes pretty straight forward.

Same with the rear really but I think i will change to a skyline rear end before it's pushed hard, i think it will be more reliable instead of the Subaru diff. Shall do my research on that before time though.

    not allot happened lately

    my gearbox arrived

iv welded the prop to the correct length

ally rad has been cut and is with a local ally welder unfortunately I don't own a tig :( maybe one day

just trying to find the correct intercooler and can then make/weld v mount mounts then I can remove it all and paint the bay and start to put things together

also ordered a few parts like concepter exhaust studs, quick shift and should have a clutch and t28r on the way very soon
