little up date stripped cleaned and fitted sum acl bearings to the sr finished the frame for the intercooler and radiaitor finished the chrome gold engine bay
engine, flywheel, clutch and gearbox now fitted, custom lower arms and tention rods fabricated and painted
fitted the intercooler and radiator today and made a start laying out the 3 different wiring looms will get pics up soon
er cans lol pretty happy with it tho desperately after an ignition coil n the other little brown box that bolts on the inner nsf wing if any one has them for sale chuck me a pm as wana get cracking with the wiring, after watching fink and deane at jdm allstars im buzzin to get back out ther on track
hoping to get this finished by the end of this month so I can get out on track and have some fun will update with a few more pics at the weekend
quick update propshaft arrived back from jwengineering, great company would highly recommend them great all round service external waste gate all finished with screemer pipe heat wrapped and tickling the floor, also finished the airfilter inlet battery mounted too front arches finished side exit exhaust fineshed 3 inch straight through flattend the system for ground clearance will poke just out the side skirt then be trimmed to suit
Only just spotted this thread. Seen a couple of drift Scoobs now (including Craigyy's GC), but never seen a build thread for one: very interesting to see how its all gone together. Look forward to seeing the finished project. Any chance you'll be drifting this at Lydden?
cheers mate yea I will be down lydnn at some point when its ready to have some fun in it, yea seen a couple but not seen one yet with an sbody front subframe arms fitted etc I welded the prop up with both yokes so new it was the the correct length and sent it off, they cut out the gash length and welded and balanced a new one in
Nice one. Bit bored of watching Bimmers at Lydden, but would pop down for a look if there is going to be a Scoob on track! Will keep an eye on the thread.
