And today I have buy this ...good condition overall ca18det auto ...Project can Start Plans are to go with M60 V8 engine+75hp nitro ,make wide body kit ,custom bonnet,make it light goal is 950 kg or top 1000kg when I finish the car ..we will see how it will go ,I do not know anything about nissan suspension and mods but start reading and count on help here ...cheers

The parts going on the car : Engine - M60 V8 from 95 740i Uprated clutch - Single mass flywheel from m5 - sinter plate disc - Sachs uprated clutch pressure plate Chiped ECU - to 6800rpm and 4.5bar fuel pressure - NGK spark plugs - Bosch new generation injectors more fuel then old ones - Merc K head fuel pump 220lit/min flow Rear axle OEM - polybushed - Differential welded from s13 auto 3.9 ratio - Adjustable toe/camber arms Electric - all wiring out and just few new wires to run the car and rear stop lights Body kit - wide body kit with V8 hood (something new just two of them made ) - all panels ,doors ,fenders,rear hood everythinng in fiberglass Suspension - K-sport Drift coilovers -adjustable tension rods ( and maybe copy DW knuckles something like that ) I hope next week will be some progress ,pictures to folow ....
Sneak pic the heart is now in the car ,sitting low and like that always been there ,there is even more space then in e30 I am very satisfied how that engine fits here ...
Gearbox mount is in the OEM place and the tunnel is modified ...we will take the engine out later and sort the details before paint ..the car is now ready for roll cage !!!
interesting, theres a guy i know over here in the UK doing a very similar transplant, not sure how far he is with it, although mounting the engine is never the problem, its making the exhaust manifolds/headers fit around the steering column thats the main problem with v8 nissans, however, its been done a few times in s14 shells so i cant see a reason why its not possible in an s13 shell look forward to the progress

doing a v8 in a bimmer has the same problems, because the 3series front legs are so narrow, S chassis much better. imagine, a bimmer v8 cannot come out from the bay down, only upwards lifted or forward if cutted. they doing custom headers to fit and not crossing the steering, so its less job to fit in a nissan bimmers also suffer cause of the front oil pan and fr mounted steering, S chassis once again an easier and better solution frankly, the 5er more similar.
As you see on this picture engine and gearbox are in the place along with headers and steering rack is on the place with column and its working ,the headers do not make problem to steering they are slight modified at the end where it come two in one ,all sits just well ,the engine is just 15mm above the bridge ,we have done 30mm spacers on the chassis to lower the bridge and to reduce tunnel modification !!
Roll Cage is finished , my own wish and plan and it satisfied the expectations !! we used 42mm tubes with 3.5mm wall and the plates are 4 and 5mm thick !! After this I must do everyone favourite job get rid of the sound isolation
