    Hi!
I liked to start on the drift but I have a doubt...
    I buy a S14a (SR20) or a R33 (RB25)?
    :(
    which is better?
    differences between them?
    can you help me?
    thanks

with both you can drift...do the same things, but in the end you get more power out of a rb25det.
my first engine was a sr20det and was very impressive...now i got a rb20det and i can tell you it much more power behind that!

Really, I've hated every RB20 I've driven, prefer the SR20, not great but better than the RB!

The RB25 is a much better, the bigger capacity gives loads more mid range and with a few basic mods they can be great engines. Having said that the R33 is a heavier, bulkier car, I haven't drifted one as such, but even as a road car they feel much bigger than the S14.

    S14as a fun car..

But out the 2 it would be 33 gtst.. No VVT sprocket problems and the RB doesn't sound like shit...

Although i wouldn't own another one.. i prefer 32s now..

If your on budget get an S14/a  Parts are cheaper and it will be cheaper to run as there's no Skyline tax also they don't look as pig ugly as an R33

    for simple reasons

    its more powerful
it has a handbrake that works

i cant really think of any advantage an s14 has over it?

i've owned a r33 and i've drifted an s14 with around 280hp, the r33 might feel heavy but the torque makes up for, thats why i have an rb26 in a light shell s13, rb all the way you will spend less money to achieve the same power figurers that most sr's run if power is what you crave for then go with the rb, plus the gearboxes are stronger. end of

R33 is a heavier and bulkier car. R33 is blacktop longblock, new bearings, new built head with stock cams and metal headgasket. it started to rod knock, very small amount of metal in the oil.
