s14a engine problem!!!!!!!!!

    car was driving fine up until sunday on the way to japfest 2.
    driving up the motorway i noticed it was'nt picking up speed as it normally does, pulled into the services and my bov was'nt working so thought obv a boost leek? so carried onto the show and when i got the pulled up anfd the engine sounded like it was going to cut out. revs dropped then picked up several times then idled normally? really strange!!!!!!!
    anyone have any advice for me to check?

    Have you checked that your BOV isnt jammed open? (standard recirc?) it does sound like a boost leak in all fairness.

    My S14 had a standard recirv valve and i remember that it jammed itself open once, i couldnt fathom the problem until i thought screw it, pigeon modded the car and she ran as normal! lol

    well it had a blitz bov on there, took that off and am now running no dumpvalve but still has the same problem!!!! i thought running no dumpvalve wud of made it flutter but that isnt happening either? fucking car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

    have you checked the AFM and how sure are you its not a boost leak?

    NOT SURE THAT ITS NOT A BOOST LEEK THINK THAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM TBH!
    deffo not the turbo.
