My s14a ignition barrel is becoming unreliable, so I plan on fitting a start switch just to replace the 'start' part of the ignition as 'acc' and 'on' work fine, its just the starting part which has become dicky. I have found a similar thread and a suggestion that s13 wiring might not be dissimilar, and said 'Black with Yellow stripe and Black with green Stripe: Starter motor/start circuit' are the two that need joining to start the car. I've read elsewhere that there is a 3rd wire that is used under starting which goes to the ecu to help starting. Does anyone know if the s13 wiring is the same as a 14a? and if so what about the ecu signal wire? Thanks in advance, Jonny.
