    hi all,

ive been dying to get a project going and at last i can thanks to my new job!

i picked up a verry nice 1990 sierra sapphire 1.8lx with 11 month mot for £250!! witch i think was a real bargain,

    DSC00207.
    DSC00209.
    DSC00204.
    DSC00205.
    DSC00204.

and yes the mileage is that low!!!

Tidy looking Saff! And if thats Genuine milage (FSH / MOT proven) and not been round the clock I'd be tempted to sell it on to as standard to someone off the owners club / ebay for much profit and buy a cheaper one to project up! Mint Sierras are starting to make half good money in standard form.

Good luck with your project plans

    update

hi, i spent most of the day yesterday messing around with the sierra and its now looking a bit more drifty!

so i got the welder out and done the first thing any one should do
    DSC00214.
    DSC00216.

and then i got to work doing some spring chopping and putting my new wheels on
    SP_A0136.
    SP_A0132.

then next things i need to do is get a tow bar so i can tow my little box trailer around and pickup all the engine parts i need for the conversion.

    update

time for an update at last,

my plans for a v6 turbo have gone out the window as i have put a deposit down on a house, so running the sierra with that engine as a daily and paying a morgage would have been a bit expensive.

so i now have a different engine,
its a 2.0 16v and an mt75 box from a ford scorpio that has only cost me £50 with any other parts i want!!!! so couldent say no really.

    DSC00229.
    DSC00230.
    DSC00233.
doin it old skool no flashy engine lifts hear! and yes the car is sat on gas bottles!!!

new plans are still to run it on megasquirt but with some suzuki gsxr theottle boddies
