At a time when Standard 18sx's are making £10,000 with 20 year old suspensions, bushings, turbos and engines in them
this is a proper bargain and literally a new car having only been on the road with this spec from the summer of 2015.

Every mechanical part was fitted new out of the box not to mention the rareity of the wheels on their own.

get yourself a bargain and a dream 180sx for £15,000!!

A standard one sells for a half decent price because it hasn’t been fucked around with. And that’s even if they are selling for 10k?

Yours looks nice and well specc’d but the reality is modifications are subjective and will limit your market.

For me, I don’t really like your arches, which are metal and would basically mean overs to sort. The wheels are abit “meh” for me, I’d probably change them if I bought it. And if end up changing the seats to.

So that’s 3 big things that you think raise the value of your car, and to the right person they probably would. But in my eyes I see them as negatives, and would be costly to get how I wanted the car to look.

Your car does look like time and effort has gone into it, and I’m sure the right person will come along with 15k. B

Thanks for the input dude...Cant say i agree with ya but each to their own i guess.
But imo this car is waay more than just some seats and arches.
When building it i wanted to widen the track as much as possible to increase stability at speed and therefore
a very low offset and wide wheel was required. I dont believe in FRP overfenders for road cars as they look tatty over time
and the decision was made to make custom arches to fit the extended track.
As regards the value of it, I firmly place that in the Engine, ECU, Drivetrain, suspension and braking system, Its bullitproof! Then I'd put value in the custom rust free shell.
Everything about this car was implemented to make it faster and more stable.
Its one thing to slap on an S15 turbo and call your car 400hp, Its another to actually create a true 400hp+ car
that can not only put the power into the ground but have the suspension and braking system to cope with it too.

I wasn’t having a dig at your car mate and sorry if I seemed like that. I understand the quality of the parts and even things like the arches I can appreciate the work that’s gone into them.

I was trying to make a point that it could be a struggle to find the right person who see’s it as perfect in their eyes.

Haha lol never thought that dude..
But text never conveys tone very well..
Yeah I deffo realise it will never be to everyone's taste but sure that's cars for ya..
But for the person that wants a race spec car that is still comfortable to drive on the road, this should tick a lot of boxes..
Really and truly I'm only selling to gather funds for a house build and don't really mind if it doesn't sell, I'll happily put her in storage if it doesn't sell by the end of the summer.

    Decent spec car mate,

And I understand your pain - my SR20 cost more to build than you're asking for your whole car, yet people wouldn't even give 5k for it when I was thinking of selling lol

Unfortunately most of the people on here are cheapskate morons who dont do anything properly or understand what it costs to actually build something to support the power and use they read about on their favourite drivers facebook page !! Only 10% at best have the first fucking clue and hopefully one of them will fancy this car as it would make a nice road car Im sure - obviously theres stuff thats personal and we'd all change (dont know if I'd want Ksports myself for example, but appreciate they are a decent spec for their cost).

Good luck with the sale, I expect this will end up in Scandinavia

    J.

Ah thats always gonna be the case when youre trying to sell anything expensive..
Hopefully i can find a buyer who appreciates whats on offer.

Somethin that you can jump into and nip down to the shops for a pint of milk without having to worry about speed ramps or bad roads shaking youre spinal column apart but is also capable of blitzing a 9min lap around the Nurburgring.
Race car level adjustability with road car level reliability, style and comfort.

Or stick in a cage, some competition seats and a hydro and you have a pro spec drift car!

It always baffles me just how many people don't comprehend the cost of building a car like this, it's an absolute bargain! I bought a built car after spending thousand building two previous, knew it was a good deal but when I itemised just the parts for the insurance it was staggering how much money you safe. Yes I carried on spending and making it my own but when is car like this ever finished?!
I love this car and I wish you GLWS but I hope you get to keep it. My biggest car regret was selling my 180 but I was lucky enough to re-acquired it in the same state 9 years later, and if I hadn't got it back I'd be knocking on your door with £15k in my hand.
