    The 1j never had oilcooler but now it does :) anyone know where to get these stock water cooler housing removal bolt?

    Slow progress with the hacking, however I can gladly announce that there's only one canbus frame left to be found ;)[​IMG]

    Finally got the electronic steering to work :) time to tear down the car and make place for the new engine :)

    Wanted to keep the original combi meter so started testing to drive it from outside the car. Think it might work with the r134 sensor

    Nice project! I use to own one of these, it was really nice to drive and the sound system is amazing! But the 220d's die thanks to the crap DPF's in them, i had mine removed and bypassed but it still failed and the engine started knocking.

    I've heard the same about the engines. Though mine is running strong and good. Would like one of these as a daily too. So nice to drive. Thanks :)

    Yes it's a ra63 gearbox for the Diesel engine. :) thanks guys

    Today I trial fitted the engine on some mock up mounts :) made a jigg and they fit perfectly. So next up is to make the final stronger mounts. Also received some vag coil on plug :)
