So I'm learning how to drift. One of the steps to starting is knowing how to double clutch when downshifting. I dont necessarily double clutch, I do something similar and just wanted to see if it really gives me the same results or not. DOUBLE CLUTCHING 1.Disengage, shift to Neutral, engage clutch 2.Rev Match 3.Disengauge, down shift, engage clutch but I do this 1.Disengage clutch, downshift to the location of the gear but dont push it in 2. Rev match and while gently pushing the shift rod to the desire gear, it will just slip in when revs are matched. 3.Engage clutch. Its less foot work, and it feels just the same. But do you guys agree? and It is bad to hold the clutch open that long while doing all that?
