got some more done on the track control arms. made bosses that fit inside tube for the rose joints and some spacers that fit inside to fit crossmember. then made brackets for arb. need to drill the holes still then fit bosses for the tension rods.

so after 2 garage moves and a lot of hassle i have finally done a little something on the datsun. i made a start on the inlet manifold for the rb26 itb's!!!!! im trying to get the old motivation up and its twitching a little, not quite dead. hopefully i can keep the momentum going and maybe even get an engine in...

so first off i got the rb25de intake manifold and cut the runners down, it seems the de and det intakes are the same on rb25's so i will probably get it running on normal inlet then chop in the go tech piggy back ecu and fit the itb's when its all together.

im going to be using the flange from the rb26 plenum welded onto the runners to attach the throttle bodies. the other flange i got with them was welded to a rb20 manifold but it was looking like more work to use that so this way it will be quite clean

so i bought 2 bits of 50mm ali tube off ebay 250mm long. was just enough for 6 extended runners. i made the runners around 180 from the face of the head to the throttle body. hopefully it will be ok to make a bit of power but im not too fussed. noise is what im really going for.
    started in the middle

    popped the flange on...

    started filling the gaps...

mocked up with det injectors and fuel rail and the itb's. trying to figure out where to mount the pulley rail...

i just have to weld it all up and fit a bracket for the pulley rail and then i can buy the trumpets and make it look awesome. i might get it blasted when im done too.
