Ueo is the best example of the lock off lock on steering technique to transition harder. No one does it like him.

Yeah this one is a great example, dont really need to see the incar to see it, but there is incar as well. From 1:08 onwards but the whole thing is freaking magic.. And it shows that nothing transistions like an AE86 either, in my view of course..

    That video is amazing.

There is a lot of ueo on youtube. There is an hour long tengoku where he and another hachi driver talk ans share about they're setups, alignments, mods ect and they swap cars ect really awesome!

this vid reminds of the gung ho ueo style. Tonnes of speed, angle and awesomeness

    Fucking AWESOME!

Fuck smoothness, as said, that jus means you not pushing hard.

Spastic hard driving in a mega power barge is for winners, love that shit.

Pretty poor effort compared to some of the jdm masters being shown here but here's my contribution.

The best bit to see what I'm doing is between minutes 1 and 2 in the video.
This was the first day with a completely new steering/lock/track set up in search of lock.
It's good but it wasn't self centring as quickly as I'm used to meaning I'm having to throw lock on and can't transition as quickly as I'd like from lock to lock.
    Still more development to do.

mike ive always envied your driving

anyways, did you change your caster or wheel offset when swapping to the new knuckles? im interested to know why it doesnt self centre the same! maybe your just using more lock and more angle and it just feels a bit different. maybe a change in ackerman had an effect on how quick it changes direction!

A lot changed, track increased with e46 arms, tyre type and size has changed, cambers increased, castor is 5.5 deg which is where it always was but I was struggling to adjust the castor on the top mounts as I wanted to wind more on.
Once I get some rear camber arms I'm gonna go back to fcm in Bristol and play with alignment again, the hunter table at bridgy Kwik fit just doesn't seem to work right all the time.
