Might be a stupid question but is there any noise limits at wheels?? I'm guessing not but thought I better ask
Some of the cars are/were loud as hell so I guess not. It's weird you can run skid days in the middle of a city no problem, but you can't run a track right next to an airport without constant earache about the noise. Anyway, I will probably be there on the 6th, will try to scrounge some tyres this afternoon.
^^^^ THIS!! So true, remember going to Donny and the db limit was 98 ??? Crazy when you couldn't even her the person next to you because of the planes landing. Good to know though my cars not even that loud but worth a check. Cheers
No there's no noise limits, we just ask you actually have an exhaust of some sort to save our own ears lol
Just Paid up for the 5th. First time up there so should be fun How bad is it for tyres? traveling a fair distance so want to make sure I bring enough for the day
I usually kill a pair of tyres with legal tread in 3 laps so bring plenty Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
What's the deal with parking if you are staying over as I'll be sleeping in the car, usually spectators have to park on the bottom car park? Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
How are the hire cars worked out please? There would be two drivers so £275 all in right? Do we need to book this seperate or just send through payment with a note attached? Cheers
Sounds like I will be filling every spare inch of the van with tyres then. At lyddenhill on Saturday I was killing a set every 4-6 laps depending on if I was skidding chessons, so I like to go in hard (or at least think I do )
I want to come to this, but I have no helmet and unfortunately I can't afford one this week. My friend mentioned you don't need a lid in the play pens? Any truth in that? Also, will sunstrips be on sale on the day?
Unfortunately you do need helmets in the playpen. Last time this appeared to have been a decision made by a Marshall. When you sign our paperwork it does say you need a helmet on all parts of the venue, all though you may feel that doing doughnuts and learning isn't exactly dangerous and we do share that thought, our insurance unfortunately don't.
