Can I just say on behalf of my fellow marshals, Big Dave , Andy ,Gerald ,Darrin and myself ( recovery god that is me,Mark ) we love you guys coming to our venue and look forward to your return. Spread the word that snetterton is the place to be.
Am soooo glad i chose to come to snetterton, was an amazing day and everyone was soooo nice and chatty. felt so welcome.... Even had a laugh and a giggle with the marshalls, which is very rare. Well done and thank you, i will definatly be back
Massive thanks to Snetterton Drift Days / MSV Trackdays along with Pete (Maxskutch) and James for making drifting possible at Snetterton Race Circuit. Marshalls was fantastic and brilliant fun, all involved are there to ensure you have a great day- so relaxed! Seriously, I couldn't fault the day everyone teaming together to get more tyres and people back out on track (I even resorted to using a pair of Michelin medium compound slicks on the rear lol) Lad's doing the tyres done bloody well today- fair plays There was only 16 cars today yes SIXTEEN! , come on people... For MOST of the day an EMPTY proper track! It's crazy. People screaming out we need proper tracks to drift on this Driftworks forum... Guys go out of their way to deliver this possibility for CHEAP but no one turns up as would all rather go hard park their stancezzzd motorz in Crapfest! ha So worth the ~400 mile/9 hour tow round trip. Anyway, was great to catch up with so many faces and meet new, awesome vibe in the pits today. Trembath gutted about the tubby, glad you had fun taking the V8'of'gayyy out. how long before another guy is converted after taking my car out Car ran fine all day, pcv valve on the back of the inlet needs replacing but meh... it still took ANY abuse I chucked at it all day!!
Was a great day!too much seat time for the money paid today!! good meeting a few people out there and hope too see everyone at the next ones to come! also if anyone has links to pictures POST EM UP!!

It was a great day! Well organised and good fun. Thanks to EPRacing btw, we owe you one power steering belt!
My first time at Snetterton and ill definitely be going back as I had a really excellent day. The organisation was great and with a really welcoming briefing. The Marshalls were brilliant and at lunch one chap went off in the HiLux and found the small piece of fibre glass wheel arch which got taken off by a tyre. Top work! Also its such a great track for practising with hardly any stoppages and everyone driving really well. Best drift day ive been too.
Great day as always cant wait for the next one... Would love to see some more pics if anyone has any?
Great to catch up again fella, I think the Tog'z got bored stood track side to a empty track for most of the day I sure lowmileage will have his pics up soon
Different. I didn't know what psi to run them at, Michelin van told me the clio cup guys run them at 20psi so thats what I went for First lap they was cold, so loaded them up a bit. Second lap done a grip lap just out of interest and was AMAZINGGGG! So much grip. third lap, got a feel for them on a few corners- it was then I realised just how fast and full on commitment they required or the clutch/diff/shafts/ what ever was going to break! Done a few more laps, wore nicely right down to the wire Over all, they was alright!
Great day, thanks to all involved. I was standing on the hill at the first corner when you were drifting on the slicks. So much speed through the corners and loads of smoke!
Mental day, awesome fun even in someone else's car! Only one off and almost a barrier, its not as scary as it looks. So much seat time, i wasn't fussed changing the power steering belt (cable ties) every 2-4 laps, still got more than enough out of the day. Well worth a long trip and a shit hotel, but good company, good marshals and officials, nice food for a change. HURRY UP AND SORT OUT THE NEXT ONE!!!!!
