Think I'm going to periodically pop this quote up  :D :p

Hmm This makes up for it a little, an extra 50kg should give it some extra lows :smokin: :wack:

In all seriousness, very interested to see what power plant your going with

Haha, fuck you bitch :p the ca does suit it, just the ca doesn't suit me ;)

And yes I totally agree on needing to go lower. Since I changed the front tyres it's gone up half inch and it's annoying me, I mean, the car is almost drivable on public roads lol.

In other news, wheels are in motion, deposit paid on the new engine. Just have to wait for it all to be removed from the donor car before I can pick everything up, should be late next week or possibly the week after depending on when they get round to it.

I'd love to see a rotary go in this.

1uzfe isn't worth it, only 260lbs ft of torque stock and it doesn't really do it for me.

Definately not a rotary, I'd absolutely love one in a 13 but I'm after reliability lol.

It'll be here next weekish, I'll stick a pic up then

FINALLY! its taken bloody long enough for the breakers to get the engine out, but its now all here. wanted to get a pic up of it all mounted in place but i havent been able to bring the car to my new house so for now......

introducing the new power plant for 2012. its a bmw 4.4 v8 m62 non vanos from a 8 series bm. i have the full engine, rad, loom, ecu, keys, ems system, ancils and everything needed to run it. i also have a m60 4.0 inlet manifold to go on which should free up some low down torque.

so plans are, buy a 5 speed gearbox from a e39 in the next few weeks, prated clutch, solid flywheel, ubuild custom headers, chip the ecu, oil cooler, and a few other toys before i get round to fitting the engine

    so until the next time....

Cheers fella. I believe it is, I managed to pull it into my garage with no problem. Also I've read that it's lighter than a rb25. I'm gonna take it to work and weigh it as it is complete and then see how much weight I can strip off of it.

Cheers dude, think it's gonna suit me alot more than the car but time will tell. Although the engine sound should go well.
