Looking at getting coilovers after my recent mot failure, looking at hsd monopro, seem like most like them, how how are they for street driving? Just unsure about spring rates, should i just get the standard 9k and 7k?

Also are their any other brands I should try? People keep saying meister but in the 3 months ive been saving up for coilovers they have never been in stock, seem like more of a bragging right that anything else. Teins on my dads evo are decent too, but I have no idea.

    Thanks

    Hi there.

Looking at a road car the standard spring rates on the kit are designed for this and should be fine for what you will need.
We aim the HSD kits at road use with a little bit of spirited driving occasionally and the odd track use.

Comparing to other brands the HSD more than compare and in a lot of cases out perform the alternatives on the market.
I would say the HSD Monopro will be ample for what you are looking at.

    Best regards
    Alex
