why not put the tank in the bed of the truck?? al you need is some quick erlease fittings on the fuel lines and you are able to lift the bed to work on the underside like you planned!! Jono
Well the number 1 priority is to keep this truck 100% functional as a truck. To put the fuel cell in the bed would not let me carry motorcycles as I have planned. Dont forget this will be daily driven an used as a truck 95% of the time.
Surely being as low as it is. As soon as you even get a few fallen leaves in the bed the chassis will hit the floor. Surely it'll never be able to take any weight anymore?
actually it should be able to still carry atleast 1000lbs in the bed. Ive got 3 inches of frame clearance and some stiff leaves. Ill load it down once its running and report back here with how much weight it held.
More tube work good old time consuming fit up work starting the planning of my coolant routing. This engine does not lend itself to side tank radiators well.
main cooling circut is just about done. Time to roll some beads and start on the heater system. and unfortunatly with the much thicker radiator I wont be able to use one big electric fan like before. Ill use 2 smaller ones. Hopefully the radiator will make up for it though.
So Im thinking about getting a toyota 95 - 97 4wd grill. I like how they look and it will be MUSH easier to make work with my 4 runner fenders. Ill probably have to cut it in half and widen it but thats easy. I think the 4 runner turn signals will match up to it pretty well. like this one... OPINIONS?
Well Im still deciding. BUT im going to get a new set of wheels in a few minutes. Some 17"s. So now I have a set of 14"s, 15"s and 17"s. Just need to find some 16"s.
