Unfortunately, due to pretty much lack of use, its time to find MX-Clive a new home

He was bought with the intention of getting him drift ready and attending drift days, although he hasn't seen the action we hoped for due to work and funds.

    Spec:

    UK 1997 NA 1.8i
    Chaste white
    Currently 84,000 miles
MOT until 08/2013 (passed with NO ADVISES) getting MOT'd 21/09/13
TAX until 30/09/2013 - most likely getting another 6 months.
Lots of dealer service history up until 67,000
Last serviced 08/12 by a BMW mechanic

It's done about 500 miles since its last MOT, which is why it's up for sale.

    Chassis:

    Recent PAS conversion
    Raceland coilovers
    Welded diff
Rota Aleica's (in the best MX5 fitment of 15x8 ET0)
Maxxis MA-Z1 195/45 R15 with very good tread
    Powdercoated front strut brace
    New front brake calipers
Recent new front and rear brake pads

    Interior:

Cobra Monaco Pro's in red vinyl with black piping (mounted on standard sliding rails)
    Red leather door cards
    Deep dish steering wheel
    Drift button on standard handbrake
    TR Lane harness bar
    TRS harnesses
    Tegiwa white gearknob
Black leather gaiters with white stitching
Lockwood white cluster and heater control dials
    MX5 Parts floor mats
Sunvisors removed (replaced with black powdercoated blanks)

    Exterior:

MK2 hard top in gloss black (has option for wiring heated rear screen)
TRS front and rear tow straps in red
Vented drivers quarter window (really good at stopping misting up)
    Rolled rear arches
Vindi ducktail rear spoiler (colour coded)
    Custom front splitter
    Clear bumper reflectors
    Clear side repeaters
De tango'd front indictors with silvertec bulbs
    De badged front bumper
Smoothed in rear bumper fog light recess (rewired into drivers reverse lamp using red LED bulb)
Smoothed front bumper to remove number plate holes
    Relocated front numberplate
    Stubby aerial
Red wheel nuts and locking nuts

    Engine:

Mazda 1.8i engine (which has never missed a beat)
    Eaton M45 supercharger
    TR Lane belt tensioner
    TR Lane supercharger bracket
    TR Lane supercharger inlet
    Custom fab outlet
    Mini Cooper S bypass valve
Bell Engineering rising rate fuel regulator
    Twin throttle set up
    Powdercoated white camshaft cover
    Heat wrapped manifold
    Red oil filler cap
    Recent plugs and leads
    RamAir Induction filter
Red Silicon vac hoses and other bits
MX5 Parts Stainless cat back exhaust

Clive is very clean and has solid rear sills unlike many i've seen for sale.
As a 16 year old car there are a few blemishes here and there, a small dent by the drivers door handle (this may get removed before sale), some very small rust bubbles on the door entry seams, and a tiny bubble on the drivers front wing and a very small bubble on the rear buy the bumper edge.
The soft top had a cracked rear screen when we bought him, so we cut it out with the intention of removing the whole frame as we believe the hardtop looks so much better.

It could do with a wheel alignment too as it has a slight vibration above 60 after I fitted the PAS rack.

Apart from this Clive is very clean and attracts a lot of attention wherever he goes.

He skids well with the welded diff and would be a fun car for a beginner/novice or anyone looking for an awesome, cheap drifter.

    Price is £2300

There is also a set of BBS cross spoke wheels in 15x7 et23 in purple :) that can be used as skid rims for a few quid more.

    Now for CLIVE!!!

Bell engineering (Begi) rising rate fuel pressure regulator,
    Timing retarded to 7 degrees.
Megasquirt was on the cards but it needs to be sold.
