i've got a jaguar xjs that i've got some deep dish steel wheels for.
i'm now looking at my options for tyres. i want to keep or be near the oem wheel diameter. for aesthetic and speedo reasons..

however, considering i want a mild stretch, which i think is necessary with fitment in the arch, the only tyres i'm finding are van tyres..

i've attached some pictures giving new wheels sizes and oem sizes. clearence measurements are not exact but roughly correct.

my main question is, can you please suggest some tyre sizes? are van tyres ok to stretch?

ive been looking at 195 55 16 however i think the wheel arch will look under filled and the speedo error factor is a problem.

also, fender rolling and or pulling is to be expected and i have already taken this into account. i'll make the body work around the wheels as the car is far from stock so am not precious.

You're only going to get van/commercial tyres in those sizes. Love the XJS. Is it going drifting?
