I like your threads! lots of pictures and comments! Nice Read! I love ae86's, the closest i ever got to one was a Ae111 Trueno
Yeah, once the inspection is done, whenever I get time to do it. I will start the motor swap, paint, front sus and brake swap, then enjoy till I have to go That is just the stuff I have sitting out, you should see some of the stuff I got in the storage room and closets, haha. 4AG turbo manifolds, rare options, coilovers, diffs, interior panels, body kits, bumpers, etc etc.. All my spares. Gotta have this stuff, everytime I go to Toyota they tell me "discontinued, discontinued, discontinued". In the past year though I've gotten rid of alot of the stuff I really didn't need. Trueno frontends, misc body parts, some stock bumpers, or spoilers. I've owned 16 of these 86's so I've aquired ALOT of shit, hahaha
Thanks, Yeah I dig them too, haha. I've also owned a few AE92, but they were mainly for the motors. Also had a AE101 Levin. it eventually gave up it's motor to an 86 too, haha.
I would have to do at least two years before I am eligible to move back overseas. THEN now I can only stay for 5 years before having to do two more years stateside. I need to find me a rich Japanese sugarmomma to support my habit and so I can quit the gov job, haha
Hahaha, i think it would be a good plan to have, Surely you would have no problem finding a sugarmaw would be easier than moving about everytime you get settled, the fees in transport alone would not be good :O Is there not any drifting girls near to you ? Or is that just an initial d thing?
The good news is the Gov will ship my car for free. Yeah there are girl drifters, but they are usually lower middle class like me, hahaha. Not sugar momma material.
Bought the Techno Toy Tuning AE86 rear interior panels, not happy First off the rear shelf panel overhangs a bit more than I would like. You cannot use your rear seat with this panel installed because it covers the seat hooks that secures the rear seat. Also the panel could have been wider to fully cover the rear shelf. Pretty shitty Then there is the rear side panels. It is a half-assed design. Would be nice if it covered more. When I lined up the mount holes, the panel was crooked and low So I grabbed some sheet metal screws and lined it up the may I wanted it and tapped that shit. Finished installing the dash, still gotta tuck wires and hook up the CB abd CD player, will do after inspection
im jealous, ive been trying to get stationed in Oki for awhile, were you prior Marine or AF? BTW nice coupe i wish i could find a cheap levin front for mine, but they are too much here in murica land.
My parents were Air Force, I first came here when I was 11yo(1985) and fell in love with the place. Grew up here, then after high school went to the states for a couple of years. Ended up joining the air force myself just so I could come back to Okinawa. Your best bet to get to Okinawa would be the Marines. There are a bunch of Marine bases here, BUT you cannot own a car unless you are a certain rank i think.
im already a ssgt in the air force lol, i work tankers and they have em in oki thats whats pissing me off. I feel like ive seen team hinga before out here in NC i could be trippin though
Loving the 86 man! I just Levin swapped my sr20det trueno over here in 'Merica, and man is it tough getting real aero for this thing haha! I love that Vertex front bumper, looks freaking amazing. I too am jealous of your parts stash.....if you want to sell anything....cough cough...... let me know!
Yeah, I had a friend who was a pointyhead on the tankers. I was a engine mech for the 130's. I did 6 years in Florida working on the C130 gunships before finally getting orders back home here. Just keep your dream sheet updated. Yeah we have the Team Hinga East East boys in NC. Cornell heads that chapter. Great bunch of guys. When I do have to head stateside I look forward to sliding with them. But I will most likely be going to Florida where I'll start up a Hinga dirty south chapter, hahaha. Yeah, had the Vertex front bumper for many many years. Just recently bought the full RunFree kit. Not digging the full rear bumper though, might just run rear-unders. I got a full N2 kit as well chillin in the storage, just not my thing though, kinda tacky on a coupe. Every once in awhile I post stuff up for sale.
Hahaha, your looking for that diamond in the rough then. Not want an american housewife no? I couldnt say no to one hahaha
Just kidding about the sugarmomma thing, I'm on my fourth wife now. First was American and the rest were Japanese. My American wife was a beauty when I met her. 110lbs, beautiful ass and tits, slim waistline. Then when I knocked her up she started growing and growing. After she had my first son she was up to 230lbs. All I can remember from that time was my bed kept getting smaller and smaller. I was married to her for about a year before kickin her to the curb. I kept my son though. I had learned my lesson, I'm stickin to Okinawan broads. Cute little asses, perky breasts, and always petite.
I need they phat boobs She went the way of poor Sammo hung. Dude trained with jakie chan same time and all but he broke his leg and got fat still just as hard as jackie but a lot more weight behind the punch hahaaha. My ideal Japanese wife would be Hitomi Tanaka
Problem here is I'm like a kid in a candy store with all of the petite gals running around, hehe - - - Updated - - - 86 I gave to my friend, it's way to get a motor shoehorned into her. Lookin forward to updates on her Was J-plating her, but with things goin loopy with wife #4, still waitin to see how this one pans out. If she leaves, I'll give the van away and register the 86 as my daily. Till then, she is just waitin I don't like the full bumper, I will swap in my rear unders on a stock rear kouki bumper
