I'm supposed to be starting a new job that day, and I've got clutch issues anyway, but if I could get that sorted and I manage to push my start date back a couple of days, would this be a decent shout for coming along and trying drifting for the first time? I've got a supercharged MX5 Mk 2.5 Sport with coilovers and a helmet so think I'd be ok equipment wise, just no idea how to drift!

    Supercharged 5 ey? Nice :)

MX5's will do it no bother, That's coming from me who used a 1.8 MK1 running on its last legs and 16" wheels/tyres on the rear lol!

I can't say there'll definitely be a space available if you were to just turn up on the day.. But it is possible. The days have been a lot more popular this year though compared to previous.

I'l be around on the day & will happily jump in and have a laugh with you, Give you a few tips along the way :)

i was actually there yesterday, my girlfriend got me a experience drift day, i just thought that it would be better with a big open space to learn but suppose the run offs is a big bonus

Ah happy days, to be honest with you, i've done a couple of wet days skidding at oulton park and did teesside (my first 'proper' drift day) on the 12th of this month, i've never been interested in skidding around a big open space like pod or wherever as I don't think there is much fun doing a layout in cones but that's just me, here's a video from earlier this month, towards the end of the day!

Hoping to either to lydden hill or driftland next, both not exactly the most local haha.
