Got my FC running today and its got a blowing exhaust, where the exhaust manifold bolts onto the engine. The problem is i don`t think i can get another gasket before friday and i wanted to get it MOT`d before then. So.................................. Any bright ideas for bodging it for now? Just so i can get it MOT`d and usable until the gasket arrives. I used fire paste on it before but couldn`t run it up to make it set right away because it didn`t run so maybe that would work if i ran it up straight after application. Fanks!!!!!
Make one out of some of the aluminium or metal in my garage. Look near the door there's scraps there. Drill holes on pillar drill, then use the grinder to hollow out the hole. It'll work if you ensure block and manifold is flat and free of shit. I've got a flat file on the shelves you can use.
