Did a bit of drifting at the weekend. Only a little bit of it though.. Headed up to Three Sisters for the weekend, I was only booked on for the Saturday but some of the lads had the whole weekend booked up. Got a few sessions in Saturday morning before one of the 318 shafts snapped again. Didn't bother bringing spares with me, kinda knew it would happen and couldn't be bothered with the hassle. So yeah, had a bit of a laugh on the circuit, actually drifted alright to be honest, and then i just grabbed a passenger band and chilled in pals cars for the rest of the weekend. Making a habit of sketchy one-wheel-drive drives home from skid days in this. I've got a 315 ratio medium case diff and a pair of 325 shafts to fit, with diff polybushes, so I certainly shouldn't be breaking those. Ideally would like some proper coilovers too because the car looks boaty as f**k but it's not a necessity so i'll try and avoid it for now.
this looks fucking sweet as dude, you and alf are killing it with the black exec cars on one-piece wheels haha
Very tidy man, building a e46 ATM. Regret not waiting out for a black one now, does help with that aggressive look!! Keep it up pal
Yeah man, project thread here http://www.driftworks.com/forum/drift-car-projects-builds/244151-na6ce-roadster-number-2-a.html
Good time at Rockingham last week. Really great day for seat time. Went up there with a couple pals and we had a decent go at following each other around the circuit, trying to build up to some medium to ok twinning / trains. We'll get there one day. Practice practice! Some pics below, excuse the tragic watermarks, but you get the jist. {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} Progress-wise, i've got some Dan/Destroy 5x114.3 bmw hubs to fit up front along with redrilled discs to suit, so i can chuck the adapters off and get some decent fitment jap wheels to bolt right on. I'll convert the rear at some point in the near future too. As you can see from some of the photos, the car is quite boaty, so i'll order some HSD coilovers next payday along with some Driftworks rear camber arms. I also have a full set of Felony Form rep overfenders on the way from Latvia, so i'll get about sorting those and saving for some proper wheels to fill them. Peace.
