Got crashed into at Norfolk Arena in the Underdog BPMX5, by an old geezer, driving a blue S Type Jag! Lol
Because i fitted them my self on the drive and liked them like it.I know a lot of my car is not going to be liked but i like it and love driving it
All for each to there own dude, just struggle to see how that looks good. Guy drifted a silver one of these at driftland, he could throw it about looked to have suspension mods done though.
Maybe some inspiration is required. To go down the "gentleman drifter" route, I think it needs to be a nice colour with a decent drop and not just some badly painted standard wheels. Also for the love of god put the bumper back on and maybe just cut it for the exhaust exits. It just looks like a banger racer from a scrapheap now. The above is obviously a PS but does show that they have potential to look alright.
If i could afford new wheels i would get some so maybe in the future, bumper is cut so cant go back and its not a gentleman drifter anymore. I will get some coilovers for it at some point too but the price is high for then so they will have to wait too.
Only just seen this. I was thinking of getting one of these to drift. Not doing any of this tho. Welder, lower, seat, skid. Slightly confused why you wrecked a perfectly good car for no performance (or any other?!) reason, rather than just welding the diff, fitting a drivers bucket seat, and getting out there a year ago. PS- Recognise the pics, I used to live around the corner until a year ago.
To be honest just been enjoying working on it, just need the diff welded and then i will be going up to pod. The car was cheap so i didint mind stripping it and respraying, the paint work was never that great and the wheels were scuffed aswell.
Me and you are in the same boat my friend! Cept mine is a v8 300hp on tap, auto though but can hold it in gear - not got a thread up yet tho
Ruined a perfectly good car, why buy cherry bombs ? As above it looks like something a 17 year old would do with their corsa
well haven't updated this thread in a while, so I have finally gotten around to doing more work on the car. I have recently gotten a new diff and had it welded up thanks to Tom Simpson {} {} Also got a new clutch kit and lightened flywheel from TTV racing {} Got some new wheels from driftwork. {} Still got the stupid exhaust that you all love. {} got coilovers on order at the moment so i can sort out the suspension, already fitted springs but they are to soft.
Bit of an update. Now has new wheels fitted and coilovers. Taken it for a track day at castle combe with the jaguar club which was a lot of fun. Still looks great with its amazing pain and daft exhaust. Hoping to take it to a few more track days and also Santapod this year {} {} {} {}
