SOLD SOLD SOLD Toyota chaser JZX100 tourer v 1997 (factory manual) I brought this straight off the boat from Japan a couple of weeks ago after waiting a month for it to arrive I have to regrettably sell it as I do not have the time, space or money to keep it, gutted as I spent ages looking for a standard unmolested example to make how I wanted it. I was really surprised when it arrived as it was a lot cleaner and nicer than I was expecting! As I say it's straight off the boat at the min so isn't registered or road legal yet. I am still toying with the idea of doing this as I'd like to drive it a little bit before it goes. I changed the oil the day I brought it home as didn't want to risk running it with old oil in that I didn't know how long had been in it, fitted a pair of tyres and a brand new battery as the one that was in it was completely dead, after that I tried every switch and function and there's not one thing that doesn't work as it should. It drives perfect with no knocks, bangs or unwanted noises. The r154 Gearbox is how it should be. It's only covered 79k miles and has all the usual equipment you would expect from these kind of cars. The underneath is very solid and clean. Never seen a jap car of this age look so good underneath. To make it road legal all it needs is, £55 sent to Dvla with correct paperwork and price of road tax, So easy and cheap. Only other bad bits are lacquer peal on bonnet, scratch on rear bumper And the odd small imperfection you'd expect. If I don't have any interest as it is then like I said I might register it and then try sell it then but could do with it going soon as Its left at my work and it can't be there for long. 12 MONTHS M.O.T. Not much else to say about it other than its the perfect base for anyone to make a full on badass car. Or enjoy it how it is. Much nicer than the equivalent German/European cars of the same class. As for price it's up for £5495 as it is but offers very close would be considered! viewing welcome and recommended as its a lovely genuine car with nothing to hide. My number is 07792309648. Do it, you won't be disappointed,. Also turned the stereo on today and was amazed at how good the speakers and sound was from a stock 90's jap car! Not the usual tiny paper shuffling sounds lol
Thats because its a Toyota lol. I was also shocked at how good the OEM speakers were thinking about it.. Shelbz, you would not be dissapointed. Best choice I ever made.
The only thing i would get if you havent which will make it easy for a potential buyer is to get a NOVA cert for it. This wasnt done for mine and its slowing things up at the moment which is terribly annoying. Great cars though and cant wait to get mine on the road!
Had all the wheels off today to have a good look in the arches and at the brakes/suspension etc. this is one very tidy car indeed.
Cracking looking motor mate, shouldn't stick about for long at that price. Would be interested but just bought one identical to this .. Still in Japan though GLWS
