I was looking at these the other day, I think they look amazing and are easy enough to get hold of in Japan via JUC but most of them seem to be V6 auto! Does anyone know of these being converted to manual and drifted? Not that i can afford to do this but the idea is nice haha! Thoughts?
The Mark X is pretty nice for a new car!! Also the Crown Athlete.. I have seen them being drifted but couldnt confirm if they were converted.. Would think so though. Kunnyz Mark X - 2JZ Manual. CAR SPOTLIGHT>> KUNNY'Z D1 MARK X - Speedhunters
Ahh yea, thats baller but... what about this... I am a huge fan of the Verossa. Not because it looks good but because its so fucking ugly, I love how vulgar they look and know that they can be converted easy enough and think they share the JZX110 chassis but i may be wrong here. Just imagine this coming up behind you sideways
WIN! well i can still dream... thats way out of budget just now but its good to know that it can be done
Sard do a complete conversion kit for toyota Mark X GRX130 (the newer version one) also for IS250 and IS350 too
I love all of toyota's random 4 door barges and buses. So much so I just bought jzxoc.com and .co.uk Still waiting for it to link up though.
That Crown Athlete that Mint posted is totally awesome, never seen one before. The Mark X looks pretty sweet in fairly standard form as well. The Verossa on the other hand...
There was a GRX120 for sale in the UK a couple of weeks back for around 10k, they can look awesome with just a set of wheels and lowered. Just a shame they all come auto from factory. Although, I do prefer the GRX130.
There are 2 mark X for sale in UK, the white one been up for sale like nearly 2 years, and the black one just pop out recently. I prefer GRX130 more than the GRX120, but 120 are a lot more cheaper. Just wondering if anyone know about the performance of the standard V6 engine?
Holy shit, I didn't know the White one had been up for sale for that long. Haven't seen the Black one yet. Don't they run the same engine as the IS250/350?
According to Wiki they have 220 or 250 hp V6 engines, shame they didnt do a manual or id have one now Toyota Mark X - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Sard have a full manual conversion for Mark X / IS250/ IS350 i think it includes box and all the small bits with a ecu developed by their own. saw a few that has been converted in Manual on dorikten, it looks like completely standard manual. but the price tag is too damn much and only authorized garage/dealer can carry out the work or purchase the kit.
