Thought I would post this up on here in case anyone is thinking of making the trip for the TT.

Jurby Airfield 11th and 12th July

From what I have been told Drifting is only on the Saturday from 4-8pm but with enough interest we may get more time.

The drifting track is much larger than last year.

Running anticlockwise, it wont have the 3 red markers at the top of the track but will have a few chicanes on the return down the bottom of the track.

A few of us over here tried out this track on Friday. Its fast! :smokin: the large corner you see on the left is 100+mph and plenty of runoff if you fail a few times like we all did.

But get it right and it will look a little like this

Greenlight TV will also be there filming the event to feature on one of the TT programs. So you may get to see yourself on national TV afterwards

its worth going just for practive week/TT week and a drift day - i went over when there was no drifting it was still AWESOME.

also if there is a normal track day on its a good track to - 100mph 360 last time i was there

Duke are being broken, albeit slowly. We shall victor! Or set Unders on them....

Would be awesome to see some mainland folks over, it might even help our case with duke :)

www.steam-packet.com is the ferry operator. Though the organisers may set up a deal on fares, I can't comment really.

From what I've heard tyre changing will be on site (Unders can confirm or deny this), there are tyre places that you can scavenge part worns from. I can also keep my eye out and store tyres for you if needs be. :)

Tyre changing will be there however we need to supply our own tyres as they don't want to be carting them up to Jurby and back.

If anyone needs tyres I will be hoarding them until the event and bringing them up on the day so just let me know what you need.

Traveling over for the TT is normally rather expensive but you cant beat the atmosphere over here at any other time of the year!

All sold out? Bloody hell! They put on extra ferries as well. Only thing I can suggest is have a look at a few different rates of traveling and try heysham and Liverpool.

If it is all sold out its going to be an awesome 2 weeks over here for the TT!

    Fack! Already!!!.

Aah, it's the 100th anniversary of the mountain course I believe, would explain it.

The problem you'll find is returning that weekend as that's when it ends, try going home a day later if possible?
