We are two brothers from Denmark in the process of building two identical E46 coupé pro drifters. We're making a video series of the progress and we're hoping you want to follow along We're far from done, but the videos will all be published here: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLLkDU5a7U7vFUqdFXjn0jm_hpNkuE7gC- And here's the progress so far. Feel free to comment and come with suggestions, this is our first pro build ☺️
We created front and rear bash bars, mounted fiberglass bodykits, wheelspacers and wheels. Next up is fueling system, cooling system and dropping the engines in the cars
Fuel systems are finally installed! We went with stock fuel tank, and a surge tank to keep a consistent fuel supply to the engine. We added a cooler to keep the fuel temperature down. More detailed videos of some of the processes can also be found on our YouTube Channel.
Rear mount radiators have been installed now. We modified the radiators to dual-pass for better cooling. But we really shouldn't have cut the radiators with an angle grinder, you should use a metal band saw or something to prevent burrs on the inside, we just didn't have that available. We may still need to add some more shrouding around the radiator, to prevent the hot air from being sucked back in and ensure it pulls the air from the louver.
We finally got the LS engines installed after a few modifications and pairing it with the BMW transmission
