having a little issue with my car s13 ca18, it runs lumpy and when you try and raise the revs it will come up to about 2.5-3 and the revs cut like you turn it off and then it will spring back to life does it at stand still but worse when your driving but once the revs ar over 4k it ok i was thinking fuel pump it got a new fuel filter which was fitted after the promblem HELP Drift west this weekend
My car did exactly this but it was even worse and it turned out to be the AFM was coated in crap and the plugs where coated in unburnt fuel and looked like death! Also look for a boost leak mate, spray some carb cleaner on the joins and over ya dump valve (if you have one) and see if the revs pick up etc, where they pick up is the leak mate.
