LSD New front disc brakes New front tyres New supercharger belt New Battery 2 x New heated lamda sensors Alternator checked New coil pack Body Kit Pics taken July 2012 The bad bits............................... Obviously this is a nearly 20 year old car so has a couple of small carpark dents and the odd light scratch. But, overall the condition is great and the paint is good. The interior is in great condition just one tiny 2cm tear on a door card that I did when installing the passenger seat. The car is priced to take into account the fact the bodykit really needs a respray as I did this myself and it ain't great! I have been quoted £250 to complete. The car has no EMV/ Stereo I took this out to convert to a TT climate system the TT unit I have, and headunit I'll throw in. The wiring job just needs doing, I just have not got around to doing the conversion. First to see will buy! If you know Soarers you will know this rare opportunity!!
On the old engine and with the old inferior exhaust it made 310. So all I'd summise is it'll be over that now. To maximise the new exhaust and engine I'd probably get a remap of the unichip but it runs just fine as is. Temps are all great and the boost is 6 psi.
I imported a kit of parts inc a race clutch for just under £1000, you then have the pedal mods, fitting, and the prop which I would realistically put at best part of another £1000( I used a new race pedal box at £600, and the prop mods were £200, unless you can do it. Then theres the box, either W58 of R154 which are anything between £300 and £700. Some places , I could mention a so called expert but I wont, will probably quote less, but I bet the final bill is something different ! So all in all based on my V8 race car manual conversion I would say £2 - 3k for the conversion, maybe slightly less if you are lucky with parts and can do some work yourself. Oh and you may want a manual ECU. Hope that helps.
You would not need an overpriced R154 gearbox for this power. A W58 would suffice and a bellhousing to mate it to the 1UZ, plenty of sites offer the kit. Obviously you would need the clutch, flywheel, pedal to do it. No need for a manual ecu at all plenty run a swap. I'd hazard around £1500. But the auto box with the built valvebody changes just sweet as it is.
i could help with a manual conversion, ive got the dxf file for a 350z adapter plate and can put you in touch with a guy who is almost done with the manual swap. best of luck with the sale Rob
I agree, this is such a nice road car , I would leave as is. The soarer auto box is bullet proof and changes plenty fast enough with the valve packers. Ive only gone manual as mine is now an out and out race car. Good luck mate
It has the MV Auto Valve body and MV Autos uprated clutch packs!! Plus an uprated flywheel (STRONGER, it used to snap them) This box is massivley over the top for the power of the car! But if the new owner decides to take it to the next level power wise............. The box is good to cope
OK I'll sell it to you £4k and I'll throw in a good Soarer with it I've had no end of people asking about the charger or breaking it but although there more than £5000 worth of "Easy sell" items I can't bring myself to do it! It took 3.5 days of hard graft to swap in the black interior (Obviously removing the grey is included), and thats the 2nd time I've done it! I'll never do it again lol Then there is the Supercharger and LSD Suspension Exhaust If she doen't sell I'm going to swap a W58 into it and keep it for another couple of years and plough a bit more into it.
Lol hes getting desperate. Should sell fine mate. Id buy the whole car the problem is i have a 200SX with the 1UZ already in so dont have much use for the soarer youd be throwing in with the deal lol. Keep it and spend on it
The car is a great car with loads of time and money spent on it. its a shame you have to sell it mate, breaking would make your more money for sure but would be a massive shame to do so.
I haven't got the heart to break it I know it's atleast another £1k on top of what I want in goodies alone never mind the breaking the car itself.
It's a great swap into a S-body. Torque and lightness of the 1UZ in the chuckable chassis of the S.......... nigh on perfection right
Heres a couple of vids................... Old Engine and Old Exhaust. I'll get new ones tomorrow as its Modified Live http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZoYGw...3J-hBwMzObi8CA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQOSj...3J-hBwMzObi8CA
