As I said on the other post, we're getting a range of BMW coilovers in and we've got some wheel spacers/longer bolt kits coming too. What other bits would people like to see us stock? I imagine camber/top mount plates would be fairly popular
rear camber arms! asjustable front camber plates too probably steering rack spacers like my chizfab ones seat subframes i think there would prob be a demand for rotas, also
another for rear camber arms, bushes and ARB's ren what do your spacers look like, might be able to make some for myself at work chris
^ 4mm thick, inner diameter so it fits around the thread on the tie rod, outer diameter less than the shoulder of the tie rod. Bits I would buy: Rear camber arms (decent ones!) Front camber adjustable plates Decent, low seat frames Bits that might sell well: (?) Wheel stud conversions Steering rack spacers ARBs Bushes Weld on tabs for the E30 rear subframe + eccentric bolts for camber adjustment? E36 subframe reinforcement plates Decent shielded induction kits ala the Dave F ones from e36coupe.co.uk Lexus lights
I'd deffo be interested in bushes, and then more suspension upgrades such as camber arms etc. when I get some cash. TBH I think DW would do well stocking parts such as exhausts and possibly styling parts, as I reckon especially with the coilovers you'll get good trade from 'non drifty' types that will buy the coilovers venturing from other forums, as all the DW stuff has a good name in quality for decent money.
I'll probably look into that one Ian. I've already had a couple of mine changed/uprated and it's only done 68k. I think the massive weight and massive grip combo equals wanked bushes in no time at all. I think it's fair to say there is a viable market for us in BMW stuff, but I'm not sure how much of that will be drift related.
Ground Control front camber plates ... pretty please.. I dont have a credit card anymore so I can't buy anything from the States unless I use paypal
I would buy: bushes, Seat rails, ARBs and camber plates. There is a lot more stuff which would sell well, but that's on my shopping list for the mo. Oh and Z4M Steering racks astraboy.
Suspension, not just coily kits maybe uprated springs and shock seperately and as kits too? All the adjustable bollocks that you lot do for the S bodies would be nice, cambers castors, locks blah blah blah. Adjustable and/or uprated ARBs. Defo a well developed bucket seat mount which would fit a seat low and in the correct position (hard to do in a e36 at least with universal stuff due to tunnel and offset steering/pedal position) Poly bushes sell well for BM's as BM's, especially big ones, cane bushes.
As above. All of it. Word for word. Been trying to find adjustable shizzle and can't. On a side note, and I assume that this is also to do with manufacturing costs at least in part, I'd like to see whatever you get in not have a rediculous M-Power tax on it as soon as it's not for the standard car. Honestly, there can't be £200 worth of difference between the standard 6cylinder item and the M-badged item.
the extra 200 will be the lower volume of poss parts sold in other words theres less m3's m5 ect than 325, 535 ect, thats kind of fair for e30 m3's they are low volume but every other m car isn't sold to let the car race so the numbers are much bigger and its an excuse... does any one have any e36 camber arms they can measure up? my touring has a camber problem at the rear and i dont wanna spend 200 quid on a bit of threaded bar chris
