After a bit of advice and some ideas. I have max 10k to spend on my new daily. I do approx 35k a year so must be reasonably ok on fuel and comfortable. Due to work requirements it must be an 2007 or later. The best I can think of so far is either a 530d or a 535d. Anybody got any other ideas?
What i tend to do is go on autotrader and dial in all your requirements and just see whats available. Works well to give you some ideas at least.
Yeah I've tried that but it brings up thousands of results! I'm going to drive a 530d the weekend and see what I think.
I click on the manufacturer after that to whittle out the crap ones, so you dont end up looking at thousands of brand new french cars lol
Yeah there are thousands of them!! I don't think I'm going to get the spec, performance looks etc for the price from anything other than the E61. Was looking at the C320 merc but the interior is shite. Pretty pointless thread really ha
I'v just come out of a 57 335d with 353bhp and 530ftib was getting 48mpg on the motorway and around 35mpg round town but pissed on pretty much everything and had all the luxury you realistically need and having it on BC coilovers allowed me to spank it round corners they're a pretty good chassis anyway Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
335d is good shout although they don't seem as specced as an E61. I'll be getting something in the week subject to a couple more viewings then 'll post my purchase.
To add about the e61 530d, one is in the family and it is a very good car for the money! I'd definitely recommend this, like any car don't cheap out though and get the cheapest you can find as youll spend a lot in repairs as we found out the hard way with the first one [emoji52]good luck[emoji28]
