I used to work nights here if it is in Sudbury?
It mainly involves working out viability on large sites and 'what if' scenarios.. working closely with technical teams to keep on top of their budgets. we do a lot of things really as its just me and my director who do our job. we are between a technical team and an accounting tram. interesting stuff though. working with millions of pounds each day and watching how each one is spent... from grass seed to train stations. our largest site has a GDV of circa 870m at present. get to travel out to plenty of meetings and site visits too.
Supply chaps to build F1, LMP and various other racing cars and then other chaps to go fix aeroplanes around the world
sounds awesome not what i expected for the job title and 870m is alot of cash makes a bag of chips at a quid seem really insignificant
