Royal Engineer my job over the past few years has consisted of being sent to hot sandy places, skiing in canada/sweden/france, welding stuff and getting drunk.
I'm a motorsport technician for a historic motorsport company, builds, restorations and run race cars at events like silverstone classic, revival, spa6hours... Anything from pre 66' to steam cars from early 1900s. and a lot of frazer nash. I think we've done a bit of work on Mr Lovetts personal cars... Its a small interweb world isn't it?
wow! reading what other people on here do makes me feel like a dog!.. im a 'Rail/rolling stock maintenance fitter and welder' fair enough any job on the rail is a half decent paid job but wish i had gone to uni and become an engineer etc.. oh and i fook around with Nissans.. lots! haha
Don't mate, its easy to make a job sound better than it is ! Most engineers/fitters/fabricators can pretty much do each others job
I'm a CNC lathe machinist for a sub contractor, currently in my last year of my apprenticeship. Debating whether or not to go to university to carry on studying.
Very small! Which cars and I'm assuming for Peter lovett? He has some amazing cars in his collection! He's got a 30's Bentley continental which is so mint its unreal!
Family own 3A's Caravans/Leisure down South Wales Sell Motorhomes and Caravans So if anyone after anything send them down hehe
I started my apprenticeship making life support systems, changed companies about three years ago and now make high voltage power supplies for military applications
Yes Peter, a frazer nash lemans rep i think and we're bulding him a frazernash bmw 328 at the moment, may have had his Bentley in.
Well that doesn't sound interesting at all. Honest. I'm a Virgin Media technician by day, and a Virgin Media technician by night. The 36 gets a look in when i get chance but it's a slow burner what with the whole family life/getting married thing
Always chuckle a bit when I hear that name Are F40s all that? Just so I know what to cross out on my lotto car list.
