My s14 has always suffered from a bit of wheel hop,as we all like to "throw it out sideways" sometimes is the best way to describe it,so let up the clutch wheels spin, out sideways and as it straightens up wheels hop, into 2nd and aggresive wheel hop

So what iv done over the years is stuff to what I thought would eliminate wheel hop

    Polybushed sub frame
    Polybushed diff
    Polybushed anti-rol bar and links
    Hardrace caster,camber and toe arms
    Hardrace lower control arms
    Polybushed hubs
    Running cs2 coilovers with polybush
    Everything fitted was new

Any suggestions? No bother actually drifting

    Thanks

Are you running any preload on your rear springs? And what damper settings?

Reduce the rebound setting on your rear dampers and be happy...

Coilovers were setup for drifting when I bought them, had one event done! But I had same issue with the previous coilovers! Only other option is change the output shafts

Did you buy the coilovers because you needed adjustability of the damping or because you think they look cool?
The people in the know eliminated this issue in the 1960's.....

Unfortunately, apart from being super stuck up, this reply is very far from the truth. Modern unmodded BMWs will wheelhop like crazy in the rain. Just search wheel hop on google, there are many examples. Did anyone else come across a solution for this exceptionally annoying problem?
