Not sure if this is the right forum or not.....

Anyhow, need some metal sheet, probably ally or stainless steel or something, so I can make up a bulkhead where the rear seats used to be and also to make a little centre console thingy to mount my switches in.....

Thing is.... cant find anywhere that sells the stuff? Anyone know?

    Cheers

i get mine from work but if you're not in engineering either make friends with someone who is or ask at your nearest factory/workshop, they may let you have some offcuts from their scrap bin, this way it wont cost you anything. if you go to a material supplier i.e aalco then it may cost you. stainless is expensive.

edit: i just bought a sheet of 1.5mm aluminium 4ftx8ft and cost me about £25 i think 1mm thick is about £20 and 3mm about £30 but depends on where you go.

    shame you is not closer

Eggleston Brothers (They are not like 'real' brothers as they don't own corollas) is a massive metal merchant - you can usually get what you need from their offcuts bin which makes it cheap enough for most things. Hunt down you local metal merchant in the phonebook.
