    White RX7 FC3S '87 - Sale/p/x - Pic Heavy!

    **DEPOSIT TAKEN**

It's with HUGE regret that I'm putting my FC up for sale, this car has been a joy to own, and by far the most fun car I've had so far. The only reason I'm selling is I feel this car is just a bit too special for my short driving and speed bumps in London!

[Car comes with the 4 MS01's as shown in the bottom picture, NOT the weds]

It's a 1987 FC EGi (N/A), and a sick looking example! It's Nobel white with a scooped TII black bonnet. Could be a good example to drop a TII engine into or start a drift project maybe?

    Year: 1987
    Mileage: 93k>
MOT: Yes - until July 16th
    TAX: Yes - 6 months

Personalised no. Plate: MAZ 2053 (comes with a spare 'UK Spec' rectangle plate for the front as well as the one that's on there).

    Engine/Exhaust:
-Starts effortlessly hot and cold, accelerated warm up still works spot on.
    -Electric fan conversion
-EGR and PAS removed - a bit heavy at slow speeds, but amazing when driving!
    -HKS mushroom filter
-Rotechniks twin exhaust system (originally £700, sounds nice!)
    -Twin downpipe
    -Twin alternator pulley

    Chassis/Suspension/Brakes:
    -Tein coilovers
    -Tein adjustable top mounts/camber plates
-4 pot front calipers - just overhauled by myself, inc. Pistons and seals, brand new pads, DOT 4 bleed and fluid.
-Front and rear upper strut braces
    -Goodridge braided brake lines

    Exterior:
-Resprayed original colour in 2009 - nice finish!
    -TII skirts
    -TII bonnet
    -TII spoiler
-Modified 'widemouth' EGI bumper (looks awesome!)
-Rays/Mazdaspeed MS01's (17x8J front, 17x9J rear - tyres on low mm, recommend changing soon.)
    -TII/S5 rear lights
    -Clear bumper indicator/sidelight clusters
    -Sleepy headlight kit
-'Player select' JDM y0 wiper blank - sick!
    -Recently replaced FTP lenses

    Interior:

-Recently rebuilt TII interior, mixed with some EGI bits of blue - looks cool! Includes: Seats, headlining, visors, rear seats (complete!), boot lining and trim, interior plastics, door cards etc. All in pretty decent condition, was totally bare when I bought it.
-OMP Dished steering wheel and boss
-Aftermarket gear knob - no idea what it is, but nice to hold!
    -Free magic trees!

I spent last summer really getting this car looking and running sweet, and rebuilt the interior etc. It's always been warmed up and cooled down properly, looks like it should be ok for next MOT (look below for more info), and has had new oil, plugs and a filter every 3k. Last Oil change was 500 miles ago, with a new filter and new plugs.

    WILL ALSO INCLUDE:
-Some drift/spare rubber, inc. 2 with road legal tread
    -4L 10/40 mineral oil
-Anything else I can find going spare!

Bad bits - there's always something!..

-Rear Arches are bubbling and looking a bit sorry for themselves which is the only real thing letting the car down, I'd definitely get it done for piece of mind, and to get the car looking ace! The rust doesn't show very well in the photos so obviously viewing is advised. Pretty solid apart from that!
-It is a 23 year old car and does have it's imperfections, so don't expect a full on pristine minter, but I'd say it's not bad minus those bubbling bits!
-Car wasn't used daily over winter so the battery is a bit lazy, starts first time with a jump though.

I think that's pretty much it, but I will say that this car has TONS of character, and they're so rare now. I think it's such a great car and is definitely worthy of having this small amount of work done to get it pretty much spot on! It handles amazing, literally so tight and corners brilliantly and It goes sideways when you want it to. Does really well on grip track days too! I don't see why it wouldn't go through it's next MOT either. Could be ideal for someone to do the work and make it look awesome, or if you're not bothered about the few bits, use it as a drifter!

I'm NOT in a rush to sell it, and if I can't get a price I'm happy with, I'll keep it and do those bits myself. As it says above, this is gauging interest at the moment.

Looking for around £1995 ono - WILL consider P/x for something else Jap and rwd! (S13/14 etc - try me, anything interesting?)

No spamming or tyre kickers, if you don't like it, don't comment. I'm after genuine interest only.

    Cheers! :dw:

**UPDATE** - BRAKES NOW DONE - New set of calipers, which I overhauled including pistons and seals, brand new pads and a full bleed and fluid.

    Extra info from questions:
WHEELS - Got some new front wheels now, and these will be fitted soon with the same centres in a new rim/dish.
EXHAUST - Not noisy on motorways or normal driving, comfortable on long drives too imo. Not boomy, just loads of rotary sound when you give it some, sounds very unique!
ENGINE - Seems healthy, starts hot or cold easy, no blue smoke, not burning water, no gunk in the coolant, runs smooth, no flat spots, doesn't overheat, no signs

fairplay buddy, thats a really good for sale add! its nice when some1 takes the time to go into good detail bout the car ect!

just as a offer, i am currently looking for a r32 but would be swayed to this if it was £1500 due to having to put a turbo engine in to it.

    so thats my offer £1500

Thanks bud, it's a much loved car and deserves a proper ad!

I did want a bit more than that really, and it's still early on so I'll see what else comes up for now - cheers though!

    Free bump,

Looks like a good one, EGI's really are not that bad well worth every penny from the looks of it.

Good car this! Just needs a front splitter (like it used to have) an it'd look perfect.

Also for that price I'd look at getting the brakes working so people cam test drive it properly, that's just my opinion.

    Glws!

Thanks mate, it is a good one! I always wanted to get a TII splitter back on it, it really does finish it off, and if I do end up keeping it, it'll get one.

I'm gauging interest with it at the moment, so I think if I do go ahead with it, If I have time I would like to try and get the brakes done. Bit tight on time at the moment, living in London away from it :(

    thanks for the comments guys!

Thanks man, I had some Tenzo R seats to go in it too, but I didn't get the frames so I'm keeping them for the next car, unless I keep this, in which case they'll be going in! Really is a sick car, and this is a ridiculously hard decision for me!

    PM'd bud.

PM's replied to - had a fair bit of interest so far! May consider S13/14/14a's in a deal!

cheers for the comments guys :)

Where in London/Surrey are you? Would it be possible to view the car there?

Rather tempted by this when I get paid which should be soon.

What sort of power do these make? I've only driven an FD before, let alone an n/a FC.
