£600 for a shitty s13 isnt a good price i paid 650 for one with sound body, mechanicals and nissan service history. and the big ends had been run in you are asking too much, which is why it aint sold yet. if i was you i would accept the 400 and be done with it
if that's the case why did you say it was bodged more than once. also a self built turbo is a BAD idea and not FINE. I love how SXOC gets slated on DW, DW forum wouldn't even exist without SXOC

im not getting involved as im neither a lover or a hater of sxoc but danny sxoc does rip the piss into driftworks aswell. plus theyd be no driftworks without drifting
Seriously, i know this car, driven it a lot, had a lot to do with keeping it working, and TBH mr fudge makes it sound a LOT worse than it is. In condition and in how its treated and fixed. Its a sound as fuck engine, quiet as a mouse, goes well, and built by someone whos done plenty of engines before. Turbo rebuild himself, well as it was only changing the seals, its not an issue! Balancing is only required when wheels are changed etc, and its the component itself thats balanced, not the entire turbo, how on earth do you think they can balance it end to end? Ie wheel to wheel. Its purely rotational, so what he did is FINE. I know DIY and thinking for yourself is frowned upon on the SXOC, but what he did is totally common other places, on stuff far more advanced than a basic old S13. Granted, he didnt do himself any favours, mainly cause he made the car seem worse than it is, but people following him and hounding him is pathetic, proper forum warrior sadness, you cant expect him to not retaliate really. If people was like that in real life theyd end up fighting, but thats why they pussy out and try be the big clever bully on the internet. Personally, as i KNOW the condition, and bearing in mind its a K plate car thats just had the bearings and turbo seals done, if i was after a S13 project, id give him 500quid for it easy, almost every other 500-600quid S13 ive seen has been a right shitter. Eh? So the SXOC of the UK invented drifting now did they?

no, but it was the only forum for UK drifting for about 3 years and welcomed a lot of non nissan users with open arms. Phil and James both came from SXOC, and DW is hosted by the SXOC technical admin

Dont want this to go off topic even more, but... Drifting in the UK was around long before this place existed, this was just the first big, well known, drifty forum, IIRC (its been 5years or so) there was drift forums before this, just drifting was pretty unheard of back then, just a load of nutters down Turweston. Just because phil and james had SX's so (obviously) wouldve came from the SXOC forum dont mean owt, it wouldve happened with or without the SXOC, they just a co-incidental part of it all. Im sure they very grateful for the Tech Admins help etc, but itd happened without them, itd happened without the people, or the site name, or whatever, a major and popular drift forum had to spring up sooner or later, just thanks to Phil n James for bothering to do it. I know your really feeling the 200SX love n all, but get over it, let poor Dan flog his car in piece (i presume your expecting him and everyone to slag your car off and follow it around various forums if you ever sell it?), and go have a jolly old time with your chums at a SXOC pub meet or summat, im off to devon to pick up my Work Equips.
there was.. even i had made one before this.. lol only got 3 members though infact! there was a driftworks before this too if anyone remembers... driftworks.org, a group in america who had a few s13 silvias and such and got media attention in mags before mysteriously dissapearing.. not sure if mibbe phil bought the name/ copyright? its true.. 200sx is fave drift car.. ofcourse the sxoc is going to get intertwined somehow... better to say alot of people probably heard of this site through SXOC....

soz mate i need the cash to pay off the rods, and then was gonna buy a £100 diesel shitter to run to work in. i will take £500 for it but no lower as it owes me a fair bit
well although my micra is worth 500 easy im selling it cheap as hell for a quick sale, if i decide to keep it and fix the back then sell it for more in the very near future ill give you a buzz, even if the engine aint run in i suppose if it was run in from now so to speak and driven like a granny it should last a long time.... boots are easy to replace aswell -your sx -
just been out there this morning trying to sort the blowing manifold, i thought it was cos when i put it all back on i was a nut short for the manifold studs as the last head had been helicioled and had a bolt in it, so i didnt put the nut on the stud thats a git to get to lol anyway i take the manifold off and the turbo is hanging on by 2 nuts, the other 2 must have vibrated loose and fell off lol its now sporting some new s/s nuts and spring washers so hopefully that wont happen again. also i found the source of the oil leak - the sump needs another go and being glued on as it seems to be leaking from only there. is hard to do in situe anyone know? as i really dont want to lift the engine out just to do that.
oh yes ! the pc hardmen are on form ! this thread is hilarious and is exactly what is going on in most car forums,--too many snobs and not enough civility ! most people wouldnt make offensive comments like i have read here to peoples faces as the result would be a blue light visit to the hospital and then the police station ! if the thread isnt youre taste or nothing to do with you then you all should just leave it alone ! group hug???? i would suggest a moderator remove it !
