114.3 mm is 4.5 inches in old money, and I think that's common on old Yank (and British?) motors. (Centre bore is another matter).
im almost positive that Jeep and most cryslers are 5x114.3 btu its either a huge or very small center bore and im sure the jeeps have 16/17" steelies
Would you be able to supply e36 fitment ? pcd 120 5 stud . If so would be interested in some 15 or 16 say 9 or 10 inches wide. Thanks John
For that price id be more than happy to have a set asap Im sure you could get a good few people interested in 16x9 et0 in 4x114
When you say any colour does that include chrome? Also if I supply you with Slightly dishes alloy wheels can they be made into deep dish or is it just steel rims? Thanks
I really want some banded steelies for my 5 stud S13, but the S14 steel rim is proper ugly So ugly, I'm not sure even mecca dish could cure it I'm currently looking into what other jap cars run 16in steels as a spare, and see if the design is different edit: Is that price inc the wheels, or would we have to supply them??
TT... You could make the steel design look however you wanted, with a bit of imagination Wouldnt be too hard...
Price is if you supply the wheels. We can supply them if someone can give me an idea what model/make the wheels they want are off. (will only charge what we pay for the wheels so wouldnt be a fortune) Kris
my persnol opinion steels wheels are not cool if they are nealy as expensive as a nice set of second hand alloys, they need to be cheap as chips. clarkey.
agree with clarkey. corolla wheels in the size i want are bucks tho so might have to go down this route. how do you get the offset to what we require or is there margins you have to go beween and how many steelies to we have to provide for a whole set of finished wheels?
a lot more goes in to making the wheels than you think. Labour, shot blasting, paint, prep, banding, travel costs etc . . . all adds up. TBH there isnt really much profit in it for £300 painted. Some places charge £300+ with just the banding done (not shot blasted). We aim to keep prices down so they are affordable. Kris
I think some of you need to realise what actually gets done when 'banding' wheels. You cant re style the wheel, its adding a ring of steel (crafted from a flat straight piece) to the actual face of the rim after the outer rim (the lip) has been cut from the center peice and then ring added (insert extra width here) then outer rim welded back on to make new wheel, the balanced and all that. Thats not exactly the way its done but pretty much what takes place, the actual face of the wheel dosent change in design its just the width that had increased by the added steel ring. I do know that it takes alot of work and not something to do in the shed at the rear of the garden! Id be interested in a set in the future (when funds allow) and have a sweet set of 14x6 steels here!
