well just a quick update, welded the arch up and cut off the slats, just have to do abit more welding inside the arch then rustproof it and smooth it over.
Never got the origin rear quarters in the end they didnt come in the shipment i waited ages for, but hopefully picking up a set of the type 2s at the end of the month and then the bodywork can start to finish off and get the car painted. Will have more updates soon.

Started lining up the front end while im waiting for the rear quarters, need to get the front bumper bar to hold up the front bumper but started drilling holes and lining them up.
Looks nice and wide from the front imo, have to do alot of work to get enough camber so the works will fit under the wings!!

well lads finally got the 50mm full wrap around rear quarters for the sil80 happy out, The fit isnt too bad needs a bit of work to be perfect and theres a 6mm gap between the over fender and the window line all the way back to the boot i presume there ment to be like that was contemplating to fiberglass it right up to the window but i mite just leave them as they are now.
Wheels fit grand and i havent any adjustable camber arms in it but im thinking should i camber the wheels more and add a spacer??any ideas??

Heres the pics anyways there only slapped on to get a look so lines and gaps arnt rite at all.

Well lads did a few bits last nite after getting a few new parts.

Polished the alloy coolant tank as it wasnt as shiney as i wanted it to be.

Wanted to make a shroud for the electric fans too draw all the heat through the fans for better cooling so got a bit of metal i had laying around and started from there.

Cut the shape of the rad into the metal and drilled all the fixing points
    [IMG]

I then marked out where i wanted the 2 fans to go
    [IMG]

I then cut the holes out using a nibbler which was a handy auld tool
    [IMG]

    Gave it a quick polish
    [IMG]

I Then fitted the fans to the shroud and the rad.very happy with it with a good fit 2.

Fitted the rad and fans to the car

Just have to wire in the electric fans now and the cooling side of things are finished!!

Well have few more bits done havent many pics of it all. Hopefully i get sorted and get the car to the bodyshop next week and get it painted etc.

Few interior pics i need cdplayer surround as the one i have is butchered.

Sanded the rocker cover again and polished it but havent any finished pics
    [IMG]

Wired fogs for the car and got bulbs also mounted the hid ballasts.

Slotted the coilovers to get enough camber so the works are up by the arch.

Started at tinting the back lights such a cunt of a job as i had no spare special tint to fuck up and just covered the 3 lights, got a little crease in one part of the tint but happy enough with them.

    Tinted the centre garnish

Got some skills lad, think I might take your idea for the radiator on my intercooler, do you think it would be a good idea as its a side mounted one with a small fan on my mr2? Comes up from the air scoop at the side off the car direct to the intercooler.

Well got the tyres for the car yesterday
    Got 235/40/18s for the 18x 10.5 +1 Work Vs-Kf
    And got 225/40/18 for the 18x 9.5 +7 Works Vs-kf

Has a nice old strech to them, that was grand and then went to fit them to the car and the problems started not suprised really trying to pull of big wheels on the 180.

The rear needs alot more camber to get the wheels to fit under the 50mm rear quarters there touching already with the car just sitting there.

The front is the worst the tyres are very close to the tubs and the loom, doesnt rub the chassis leg at all even with the extra lock hubs which is good but very close to the seam by the door and thats all folded in so may need abit more "fabrication" to push it in abit more.

    Heres how it looks
    Rear Wheels

Look from the front, have to raise the bumper bar abit to level bumper rite.

Well lads fitted the rear camber arms last nite to the sil80 and dialed in abit of negative camber, have to get adj toe arms now so the car can be alined as the standard toe arms are out to the last and still abit off.
Very happy with the look and have no clearance issues so thats all good had to trim abit of the inner arch lip to get them to sit right.
    Heres a few snaps!
