I recently found out the pillowball (indicated by the arrow) has play from front to back.
Already have replacement items, will be fitting them wednesday.

Can a worn pillowball like this, cause loud noise and serious vibrations?
At 100km/h on the highway it feels like the entire rear subframe is coming apart and a loud clunking noise.

depending on how worn it is matey but it definately wont feel good on the motorway and is more than likely to leave you with clunky knocky noise's :)

It has about 1mm of play. So it's quite a lot.

Here's hoping the new pillowballs and PU bushes sort out the vibrations and noises.

Absolutely. That's exactly what they do when they start to fail.
