A new rad should be on its way to mine soon with a built in PAS cooler which is just awsome :D

Wide arches are in sunderland but im waiting for a phone number to go and collect which sucks as he isnt replying at all

    Ok,

I got these is the post the other day...start with boring stuff eh..

    DSC_0170.

Then today i went and got these from a guy local who has also got a 25+ car garage for me for cheapness:

    DSC_0171.
    DSC_0173.
    DSC_0175.

They need a little chopping as ive said already but thats perfectly understandable due to them being mk2 escort arches....they fit pretty sweet with no mods just a little long etc as you can see

Long ass time since i updated this thread...

So since ive just been plain lazy and skint ive not done much to the sierra apart from general cleaning of parts... Yep huge progress lol.

I finnally got enough money spare to get a complete set of Poly Bushes for her this last week which makes me feel 110x more close to finalising this, dont know why but feels good and ive got the motivation again to get on with it....shame the money isnt all there yet but ill manage..

I started Saturday morning with a little bit destruction of rubber bushes in all rear beams, arms etc... Not much of a job more of a sit and wait one but felt good actually doing something on it no matter what it was...

    and finnaly out

Also found my slimline cosworth twin electric fans, dont know weather or not to fit them instead of my chunky ones hmmm

Im going round the garages tomorrow to dismantle the back hubs away from the trailing arms so i can get the Malt vinager on them to clean them up and then get them either powder coated or Hammrited in a colour......Probally hammerite due to my funds being in the red,,

So now im just awaiting for my full set of Poly Urathane ones to turn up and be fitted, Ive stocked up on more copper slip so fitting them is a little easier :)...

Should be a little more of a update tomorrow when i pull my finger out

Not quite finnished yet but they are getting there :D little more of a soak and then ill get a new set of seals and start a rebuild on them :)

Bit more will be getting done today,

I will just edit this post when i snap what i get done but on the list today is:

    Clean down all rear arms,
Prep them and then Hammerite them

If they dry quick enough then i will be fitting new polybushes then might get some reassembled on the car :)

    Wish me luck

A freind from america told me that if i had a crash i would get seriously bad whiplash or maybe worce off my harnesses being to vertical, is that true as i heard that they need to be atleast 27 degrees or something????

You will get injured because the belt force will be directed down into your shoulder and collar bones.
The shoulder straps should go almost straight back.
Get a bar welded horitzontally in the rear of your cage for the straps to go over/onto.
Do it right and be safe :D
