Lol getting used to 1.3 is proving difficult enough so it'll be a while before I start running stuff like 2.0 :p I might take the front drive shafts out of my E10 just see what I can do with a rwd car haha!

Ok guys work has officially started on my Alan Stanton & Co shell :)

Starting with a Tamiya LHD interior, which by the time I took a photo had already been painted haha! You'll also notice the custom fabricated hydro ;)

And then a little later a Soarer :) Which is becoming an SC400 since its left hand drive haha! This is what the interior looks like mounted in the body :)

I also put a low profile Servo into the car. This is a must for the DIB as the steering arm now sits nice and flat how it should unlike when I had my old servo in the car which made the arm sit at an odd angle.

Obviously ignore the second set of holes. I've been telling people that the shell came with the holes pre-drilled but the fact of the matter is I did it when I was annoyed and messed it up. So if theres a lesson to be learned its never try and do anything to a car after you've had an arguement with your girlfriend, best friend and just for good measure his mate as well.

Going to build a tiny CS track in my garage tomorrow out of hardboard and gaffa tape which should be a laugh! Video of crashing may follow lol

Ok since i've last posted on here I've had a Savox servo fitted to my car. It's a good fast servo in comparison to the Core RC one i was using but I can't exactly jump up and down and say its changed my life. My car steers just as much, it just does it a little quicker. I've also broken my spoiler.. I thought I was going to have to cable tie it back on but it just pushed back in.

Also debating about selling it after the Hatfield Peveral event on the 2nd. It would be a little bit more money for my 323/5. How much would you lot offer me for it?

I've rekindled my love for this car in the past couple of weeks so i'm not going to sell it now! Not a lot has changed since I last posted. Has an MST sticker on the back window and a big 'Essex RC Drift Club' on the spoiler. Oh and I painted the fake nuts on my wheels red lol! Thinking a 10.5T motor, Overdose front shafts and some new radio gear may be in order soon :p

yokomo anti akerman knuckles, yokomo 7 degree hubs or go for the new hub yokomo make... no hub to actually hit the shafts on then.

to be honest i would keep the yokomo shafts there is no real need to upgrade unless you are going past 2.0 cs and running crazy angle... but you would have to have the right shafts in the front and not in the back like you were running lol ;)

Right with only a week left until the start of the D1RC winter series I thought i'd better show you my shell for it :)

I've tried to step up my game with this one a bit :) I've added shutlines and made the drivers side window half open :)

Hi Gang, it's been a while since I updated this :$

There isn't a lot of changes to report to be honest! I went to the first round of the D1RC series, which was a lot of fun, so the car now boasts a blue sunstrip and door cards :) I qualified 8th and then was knocked out of the first round of competition by Darcy Meadows, which is fair play, he's a good driver but i'll get him back next time ;) My rear belt basically spat it self out though so i've ordered a 1.5cs kit, which has passed through customs rather quickly and should hopefully be here tomorrow or tuesday :D

I also mounted a camera to the roof of this (as many of you would have seen on facebook) it works really well on T-Drifts but the TN219s used in the winter series seem to be a little taller so when the cameras mounted on the shell the wheels rub.. and then all I film is me crashing!

I'm sure everyone has seen the D1RC's pictures on the event thread but i'll leave you all with my favourite.

    See you all soon!

Good day at D1RC Round 2 :) Qualified 8th again but finished 12th overall :( There was an extremely high level of driving from everyone there so I'm gonna have to get some practise for round 3! I've also had to get a second job to pay for round 3 haha!!

Happy with my results at D1RC yesterday qualified 4th and finished 7th :) need to get some alloy steering knuckles and C-hubs though as the screw that goes into the top of the Chub has worn away the plastic around it so there is a lot of play

Ok guys its been a while so I thought I should update this!

Since the last time I posted a few rounds of D1RC have passed, as well as numerous carpark sessions, and needless to say the S14 was looking a bit sorry for it self! So I retired her to my not so famous 'wall of drift' with the Escort which hasn't been on the car in months!

My friend Rob brought the R31 Estate that Mitto won at the first round of D1RC and sold it to me the same night he picked it up. I quickly got round to spraying it :)

It's by no means perfect but as a promo tool for R Francis Photography (www.facebook.com/RFrancisPhotography like it :)) it should be fine! I'm pretty happy with my homemade Outsiders sticker too lol!

And obviously it has Georgia number plates for teh lolz!

I also got some new driveshafts because the standard ones were basically worn to nothing and not really working at all :$ However I got shafts for the MR4 because i'm a fool! A quick word with Peter Gray and Matt Tunks and I had established the shafts on the MR4 and DIB are the same length and it is just the heads that are different so I could just swap the heads round and still get a little extra lock :D simple? No! One transplant went according to plan but the grubscrew in the second shaft (the broken one) was like jammed solid! After a lot of time I discovered that the wheel bearings out of an Xray T1 fit straight into the DIBs knuckles but have a big enough hole for the MR4 shafts. So my car at the moment is a bit of a hybrid!

As per usual my next plans for it is 1.8 CS and proper DIB driveshafts with some alloy knuckles (might get the C-Hub delete ones, if you have used and think they're awesome or the worst thing since One Direction please feel free to let me know :))

I have also purchased a MS01 RTR off of our inhouse retailers James and Mitto :) This will be used for the outdoor D1RC series (and was a bit of a treat to myself as i'm really ill at the moment and might be out of the ful size game this year if things don't go to plan :() so i'll be doing a build thread on that for ya'll :)

Keep skidding peeps and i'll speak to you all soon!

go for the 2.0cs kit. its still not enough lol. i find there is alot of play in the crappy bearings that come with the castor blocks, might be worth upgrading to a high quality bearing if you do go hubless
