Been lurking for sometime on here and seen as i have done a bit of drifting now it seems a thread could be fun So ill start with the basics and see how things pan out I bought my 1.6 eunos roadster last year as a daily/track car and i can explain the love i have for it after a few skids ect and a small session at driftland i decided over winter i would make the car more drift focused this build is budget but to me its cost me quite alot so has been quite slow, i have photos all over the place so ill collect them and put them up, this is just a start to see how things pan out The current spec: Mariner Blue 1.6 15" advan rg1s ebay coilovers fast road alligment 1.8 brakes with yellow calipers, yellow stuff pads with grooved and vented rotors powerflow (i think) straight through exhaust (sounds awesome) 1.8 diff and shafts, diff is welded 3mm rack spacers 6 point cusco cage in yellow black number plate panel k&n induction kit mostly stripped interior A/C delete with fan on switch maybe a few things i have forgotten ! parts i have but not fitted yet: braided brake lines cobra monaco bucket (mounts made up for it currently) i dont have any external footage but i am uploading a rubbish video form inside so i will link that in as proof before the hate starts flowing haha thanks for looking
FIRST DRIFT DAY 25/4/14 @ driftland so i had my first proper session the other night, chance to try the welder and have some fun the night started almost dry but quickly turned into a swimming pool and it was an absolute blast !! i ran 26 psi on the front and 45 in the rear to help with the wet big ficks, foot to the floor and although i wasnt brave enough to run the wall (not in that weather) i did manage to manji/link the big corner once or twice which i was pleased with for my first day on the smaller S bend section i was able to give it a big flick ad amazingly use the handbrake to initiate, getting further back each time abig thanks to everyone that was there, it was an incredible evening even if my roof leaked in an incredible fashion haha heres to future skids !!!
