DW harnesses

    Hi guys,

    I have question about install DW harnesses in S14, it is possibile to use stock harness place to install them with eyebolts or i need something to weld there?

    most people fit screw in eye bolts to the original seat belt mountings under the rear seat but it does mount them at the wrong angle and theres a risk of compressing your spine in an accident.

    Basically as above....

    Lap straps, attach it to the original rearmost seatbelt rail mounting point on the outside of the car, for the tunnel drill a hole directly parallel to the outside mounting, with a backing plate to hold the eyebolt.

    For the shoulder straps either the stock rear seatbelt mounting points with eyebolts, which isn't ideal but works, or a harness bar, which is ideal.
