well I think its about time i made a build thread for this seen as though ive unveiled it to the public on facebook!

im smoody and I drive for automotive workz drift team.
It is to my knowledge the first rocket bunny v2 r32 skyline made.

I built this car from initially purchasing an r32 skyline bare shell, and I mean bare!
it has been the biggest task ive taken on so far and started the build two years ago.
I initially made the outside pretty standard with gtr arches, overfenders and the type m kit.

I fitted a series 2 rb25 in and kept it standard initially and had it on the track at the beginning of last year. the initial teething problems I found and locked it away in the garage for a further year!
I would say its 90% complete and should be ready and competing this season!

See the first comment below for spec list!

All rocket bunny kit is rivnutted with csk washers and gold center bolts
    50mm spacers all round
    Rota Alloys
    Complete wire tuck
    Tubbed arches

All work and fabrication had been done by myself to date
    some photos :)
[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]ill try post more photos if I get a chance. Thanks :)

Ace. Did the rocket bunny arches just go straight over the gtr f&r arches or did you have to do a fair bit of messing around? The fit on the leading rear arch looks like they were designed together lol.

Heat gun, angle grinder and glass mats are the way to go with this! Things can be moulded and shaped as best you can with heat, other things need cut, shaped and re glassed

made the 3" SS elbow and downpipe for the new setup complete with v bands

Quick update, ive been doing quite a few little things, relocating fuel lines, little bits of wiring, plumbing in lines and getting the pipework for the intercooler mocked up, so not much to show.

however yesterday I spent a bit time adding a nice stainless plate at the bottom of the extended arms for added strength also fitted some lock stops.

I know I know... no one wants their lock to stop but it has to somewhere, and it seems the tyre is rubbing on the anti roll bar even with 35mm widened lower s14 arms that are 20mm wider than the standard 32 ones, AND 50mm wheel spacers. so needs must.

and yes I do know I need some new boots on the rod ends! haha

modified the drivers side lower arm today strengthened and lock top added, this time I jacked the lower arms up to simulate the car on the floor and went full lock, it seems I have more clearance when the car is dropped down so I could wind the lock stops further in!

little photo of the cage dodging door cards

feeling like its close to driving now! it was about a year ago that I first had it driving so cant wait to have it sliding again only this time even better :D
little photo from Teesside about a year ago

im really hoping it makes me as happy as my s14 did before I sold it last year to fund this!
